Previously wearing the SRT nametag whose exclusive rights now
belong to Dodge, the Jeep Grand Cherokee was the most
successful vehicle to wear the SRT badge in recent times.
Therefore FCA isn’t about to stop production of their hot,
money minting machine. FCA came up with a new strategy to
re-launch the Grand Cherokee-SRT donning a new name i.e. the
2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk.
Not only have they changed the name but the new SUV comes with
immense power derived from the all powerful supercharged
Hellcat engine. Rumors began flying around of a Grand
Cherokee carrying a Hellcat engine when FCA trademarked the
TrackHawk name but now it is official that a Jeep Grand
Cherokee TrackHawk will soon hit the streets with the Hellcat
engine ready to rise to the top of this market segment.
2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk Exterior
Though actual specs are yet to be availed, our reliable sources
intimate that the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk will be
built on a similar platform as the Mercedes-Benz M-Class. The
informants continue to say that FCA engineers are facing a
setback in making its driveline blast-proof against the huge
engine’s torque bombs.
We expect the exterior to be excellently styled to keep up with
market trends. FCA will utilize lightweight but strong
materials on its body. The front will be aggressive with a
large grille and front bumper. There will also be large air
intakes to channel air to cool its gigantic engine. The vehicle
is also likely to feature redesigned LED headlights and sharp
fog lights to aid in poorly illuminated areas since the vehicle
is designed for the off-road terrain.
The rear will also most likely be redesigned to feature a
modern exhaust system, sharp taillights and a defogger which
works with the rain sensing wiper at the front., the vehicle
will ride on the large wheel to enable it comfortably maneuver
through different kinds of terrains.

will be spacious providing ample head, leg and hip room to all
passengers. It will also have plenty of cargo space which can
be further expanded by folding rear seats.
Other likely features include a large touch-screen infotainment
system and modern tech’ features like Bluetooth connectivity,
USB ports and Wi-Fi. For safety, the vehicle will feature
enhanced safety belts and airbags as well as a package of

This huge power will be channeled to all wheels via a ZF
8-speed automatic transmission system. This monster of an
engine will “fly” the large SUV from 0-60 mph in less than 4
seconds towards achieving a top speed of 200 mph.
That friends, is a huge amount of power on your hands so if you
love the Grand Cherokee but find this muscle too powerful to
handle, well, FCA has got you covered. There will be a base
