2017 Jeep Wrangler

The current Jeep Wrangler has been in the market since 2007.
Since then, except for an engine change, the Wrangler has only
received minor tweaks. The automaker is finally planning to
release a new model of the Wrangler set to be released in 2016
as a 2017 model year vehicle.

The new model will be the fourth in its generation. The 2017
Jeep Wrangler will be redesigned in all fronts, from the
exterior, to the cabin all the way to under its hood.

2017 Jeep Wrangler Exterior

From the outside, the Wrangler looks tougher but with a more
modern exterior profile compared to its predecessors. The new
vehicle is 152.8 inches long, 73.7 inches wide and 70.9 inches
tall. The vehicle has an excellent ground clearance of 8.8
inches which makes its excellent in different terrain. Its
wheelbase spans 95.4 inches.

The new body will be constructed using aluminum meaning it will
be lighter which will translate to a better fuel economy.
According to credible sources, the vehicle will have a unibody
platform as opposed to the old body on frame platform. Though
the vehicle comes with an attractive and modern design, the
vehicle retains its traditional look. At the front, the
Wrangler gets a larger bonnet as well as a white damper which
makes it more attractive.

The vehicle also gets a new grille with slits. Other features
include a soft-top convertible roof and a fixed hoop which
improves protection in case of a roll over. The vehicle will be
offered in either 2-door or 4-door bodies. Since the Wrangler
is a full off-road vehicle, expect large wheels wrapped in
high-performing, all terrain tires.
