Exterior

The  next gen of Hennessey Venom  is an
artistic creation that has a beautifully amazing view.
Its body is made of hybrid aluminum and carbon fiber that
makes it light. The car weighs less than 1300 kilograms.
The hybrid and carbon fiber material also makes the body
more durable compared to carbon fiber material used in
other cars. The car’s bonnet has a low-drag shape that
reduces the drag coefficient to 0.40 compared to the 0.44
drag coefficient of the  Hennessey Venom GT. The
F5 has a diffuser below the rear bumper and venturis
under the body that create a downward force that keeps it
firmly on the ground.
This car has an advanced design of the Lotus Elise
chassis. It has an wheel base of 2820mm, 4859mm of full
length, width of 2624mm without mirrors while when
mirrors are included, the overall width is 2836mm. Its
front track measures 1868mm while its rear track is
1820mm. The car is quite low as its height is 1165mm. The
mirrors of the car have elegant curvy shape that would
unmistakenly be found in luxurious cars as the Hennessey
Venom F5.

Engine

The new Venom F5 power source is a 7.0 liter V8
engine. The engine produces as much as 725 bhp. According
to the Managing Director of Hennessey Motors, the 2016
Hennessey Venom F5 will use its twin turbo-charged V8
engine to generate more than 1400bhp. This power
generated will be far higher than that generated by the
Bugatti Veyron engine. In terms of power to weight, this
engine generates 1000 bhp per tonne which is about 360
bhp per tonne more than that generated by the Bugatti
Veyron SS.
Owing to the immense amount of power generated and the
chassis shape that increases the aerodynamic effect of
the car, this car is quite fast. The car has been said to
have marked a new speed record of 270 mph (targeting a
top speed of 290 mph) though this has not been recognized
by the Guinness book of records. The Hennessey Venom F5
accelerates from 0-60 mph in about 2 seconds and takes
14.56 seconds from 0-200 mph and 13.63 seconds to
186 mph (300 km/h).
